2018-07-17 16:28:14

On 20~22 June 2018, in Beijing,Yann Le Moullec, Technical Director of EDF China R&D Center, attended the Fifth China International CSP conference and CSPPLAZA annual meeting (CPC2018) , in which he shared the commercial opportunities and challenges of supercritical carbon dioxide cycle CSP technology.

As people continue to seek solutions that allow plants to run at temperatures above 600 degrees, everyone is re-focusing on the technology of supercritical carbon dioxide CSP technology. According to preliminary estimates by EDF, it is conservatively estimated that if the industrialization is achieved, the cost of the supercritical carbon dioxide cycle system can be reduced to 700 Euro/kW.
