To be into operation by June 30! The Luneng Haixi 50MW solar tower receiver is now in hoisting
Reported from CSPPLAZA:On April 10th, the second layer of steel structure of The Luneng Haixi 50MW solar tower receiver was successfully hoisted. The steel structure of the receiver is 40.7 meters high and is divided into three layers. The first layer is 13.25 meters high, the second layer is 13.75 meters high, and the third one is 13.7 meters high. Wherein, the heat absorber is arranged on the second layer.

Luneng Haixi 50MW Tower CSP Project is key part of Luneng Haixi Multi-energy Complementary Demonstration Project, which covers an area of about 6,400 mu of land. The project EPC is SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co.,Ltd., a wholly-owned Grade A subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China.
Additionally, another solar tower project-POWERCHNIA Qinghai Gonghe 50MW Molten Salt Tower CSP Project is also under rapid construction. Which project will be the third operating Tower CSP projects in China? The answer will be revealed soon.
The project is scheduled to be operational in June 2019. During the China International CSP Conference（CPC2019）to be held on 10-12,July,in Suzhou, China, SEPCOIII will share the project’s operation results in-depth.
