Recently, according to the Shandong Electric Power Construction NO.2 Company, the consortium jointly established by Shandong Electric Power Construction NO.2 Company and SunCan Co., Ltd ((hereinafter referred to as SunCan) successfully won the bidder of Solar field EPC of CGN Delingha CSP Plant.
The bid opening meeting held on January 4, 2016 has released three bidders’ tender price.Respectively, the total tenderprice of 703 consortium is CNY669846725.3; the total tender price of SunCan consortium is CNY566095418.3; the total tender price of the Northwest Institute Co.,Ltd is CNY792038654.1 (the above price are tax-excluded and is exchanged RMB according to exchange rates of that vary day.).Technical standard of three bidders has been approved previously. According to ADB procurement rules, SunCan consortium with the lowest quoted price significantly has more advantages. Whereas, SunCan consortium is confirmed to win the bidder, then we can speculate its tender side also deems SunCan consortium has the ability to complete this project according to the standard under the lower bidding price range .
Up to now, the basic design(Spain Ingeteam won the bid) , Owner’s Engineer (Spain Aries won the bid), power island EPC (Northwest Electric Power Design Institute won the bid), thermal storage island/system EPC (Shandong Sunway Petrochemical Engineering Share Co., Ltd won the bid), solar field EPC (SunCan consortium won the bid), turbine (Dongfang turbine Co.,Ltd won the bid), molten salt pump (Ensival Moretwon the bid), heat transfer fluid (Solutia won the bid ) and molten salt (Wentong and Xinjiang Saltpeter won the bidrespectively), oil-water heat exchanger (Harbin Steam turbine plant won the bid) and a number of important tendersubjects have been completed. Moreover, it is widely predicted that CGN has much more possibility to be selected into the first batch CSP demonstration projects.Based on the above event, this project is expected to be put into operation before the end of 2017 and become the first commercial and functional CSP plant with 50MW capacity in China.
