Reported from CSPPLAZA: The tender notice for the integral unit commissioning and technical services for operation and maintenance of China Guangdong Nuclear Solar (CGN) Delingha 50MW CSP project has been released recently. According to the notice, the tender documents are on sale from September 30, 2017 to October 15, 2017 (except holidays) and the bid will be opened on 9 am,October 20(Beijing time).
According to previous news, on August 31, the power receiving of the project’s auxiliary power gained one-time success,marking the upcoming of the equipment comissioning work and a new milestone stage for the project.
In this tender, the following requirements are presented for the bidder qualification: the bidder need to have the experiences of integral commissioning for no less than two parabolic trough projects(the installed capacity of each project should be 50MW at least) ;the bidder need to have at least two achievements of operating and maintaining the parabolic through plant for more than 5 years. At the same time, consortium bid is allowed.
According to previous report from CSPPLAZA, up to September 23,the installation for Solar Island has been completed more than 65%; the steam turbines are expected to finish installation in November; as for heat transfer and storage island, the civil and construction works are basically completed; the installation of the equipment of the heat transfer area are all done; 70% of the pipeline installation has been finished.The overall structure of the whole project has begun to take shape.
As the first commercialized large-scale parabolic trough CSP project to begin construction in China, the project is currently far ahead of other demonstration projects in the overall progress and expected to become China’s first grid-connected solar thermal demonstration power plant.
