China’s Dunhuang 100MW Molten Salt Tower CSP Plant Has Completed Its Civil Work on May 17

On May 17, China’s Dunhuang 100MW molten salt tower CSP plant has completed all civil works and entered the facility installation stage. It is expected that the plant will be connected to the grid to generate electricity by the end of 2018. As one of China’s first CSP demonstration projects, the plant installed a total of 12078 heliostats, with 11 hours of thermal storage and a receiver tower 261 meters high.
