Reported from CSPPLAZA: November 9th, Shenzhen CGN office, bid is opened for the integral unit commissioning and technical services for operation and maintenance of China Guangdong Nuclear Solar (CGN) Delingha 50MW CSP project.
There are 3 tenders, all consortiums, competing for the bid. They are,
1. Consortium of Beijing Shouhang IHW Resources Saving Technology Co., Ltd. and MONTAJES MECANICOS Y PUESTAS EN MARCHA JR，SLU;
2. Consortium of Runh Power Corp. Ltd and Atria Smart Energy Solutions;
3. Consortium of Inner Mongolia Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd and Focusing Solar Science and Technology (Beijing) Co.,Ltd.
In this tender, the following requirements are presented for the bidder qualification: the bidder need to have the experiences of integral commissioning for no less than two parabolic trough projects (the installed capacity of each project should be 50MW at least); the bidder need to operate and maintain at least two parabolic through plants for more than 5 years. At the same time, consortium bid is allowed.
According to previous report from CSPPLAZA, up to October 10, 65% of Solar Island has been completed; the steam turbines are expected to finish installation in November; as for heat transfer and storage island, the civil and construction works are basically completed; the equipment installation of the heat transfer area are all done; 70% of the pipeline installation has finished. In general, the overall structure of the whole project has taken shape.
As the first large-scale commercialized CSP project to begin construction in China, CGN’s Delingha 50MW Project is currently far ahead of other demonstration projects in the overall progress and expected to become China’s first grid-connected CSP demonstration project.
