*Shangyi 50MW DSG Tower CSP project

Comment:
This project uses the DSG tower technique, storing thermal energy through exchanging heat from steam to molten salt.

Introduction of project owner:
DaHua Engineering Management(Group) Co., Ltd. is founded under the approval of State Development Planning Commission(SDPC), State Science and Technology Commission and the State Council, which is a joint stock company restructured from DaHua Energy Technology company directly under SDPC. Possessing qualifications issued by a couple of state commissions, DaHua has strong strength in many businesses including project preliminary planning, designing, engineering consulting, project management(supervising), engineering construction, EPC general contract, investment and development. DaHua will work with Institute of Electrical Engineering of CAS to develop this project jointly.

*Yumen 50MW Thermal Oil Trough CSP project

Introduction of project owner:
Changzhou Royal Tech CSP Limited is devoted to CSP and development, innovation and industry promotion in the area of distributed solar utilization. Main businesses cover high temperature evacuated collector tube, system integration of thermal field and system of distributed solar combined supply of cooling, heating and power. As one of the pioneers in China CSP area, Changzhou Royal has made a major breakthrough in key component of CSP, whose homemade high temperature evacuated collector tube is successfully applied in overseas commercial plant for the first time. Its technique in system integration of thermal field was ranked as international advanced level by CSPServices, an international authoritative institution in CSP.

*Gansu Akesai 50MW Molten Salt Trough CSP project

Location of project: Akesai, Jiuquan, Gansu
DNI: about 2056.5kWh/m2/yr
Project owner: Shenzhen Jinfan Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

Route of technology: molten salt trough, 15 hours of molten salt thermal storage
Source of technology: Tianjin Binhai Concentrating Solar Power Investment Co., Ltd.
Status of project: project filing has been completed.

Introduction of project owner:
Tianjin Binhai Concentrating Solar Power Investment Co., Ltd. is co-funded by Shenzhen Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and the government of Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone. Shenzhen Jinfan is the then project applying body, but the actual body has been changed to Tianjin Binhai. Tianjin Binhai brought in the world’s leading CSP techniques, aiming to realize localized production to reduce cost. Its ultimate goal is to build a 200MW base equipped with a large-scale system including heat collection, thermal storage, heat exchange and power generation and a world-class CSP R&D center. The Akesai project will rely on this base to realize the localization of equipments.

Project owner: Rayspower Energy Group Co., Ltd.

Introduction of project owner:
Rayspower Energy Group Co., Ltd. focuses on the business of the system integration of CSP plant. It opened a leading reflecting mirror plant in Chengdu in June 2013. Based on this plant, it cuts in the sun island EPC area. Through the construction of Yanqing 863 Trough Testing project, it has accumulated integration experience in trough mirror field. Meanwhile, it’s a new three board listed company, which, to some extent, is favorable to its financing.
